Exercise Blogs are a great way stay on track with your workouts!
Hi there! Today's blog is all about your exercise blogs. One of the toughest obstacles in losing fat and gaining muscle, is staying on track with your workouts. Most people blame the world around them as the main factor for not being able to maintain consistency. I think that it has to do with one word: accountability. You see, if you do not have a personal trainer or dedicated workout partner, it is very easy to NOT hold ourselves accountable. With no one around to notice or condemn our slacking, it's easy to put our fat-burning-exercises off for another day. We immediately rationalize and forgive ourselves for not working out. However, a few days later, maybe bikini shopping, on a date, in the gym, or naked in the mirror, we punish ourselves and condemn our lack of discipline and action. So why don't we avoid all that and create a safety measure for success? I suggest using something similar to what you are currently reading; a workout or exercise blog. Almost anybody can have their own exercise blog.Personal sites like Facebook and MySpace both have blogging features. Use this to your advantage. Blogging will help your friends see that you are truly committing yourself to a new lifestyle. You may even find a new workout buddy. Workout blogging will keep you honest. Good workout or bad, blogging about it creates proof of your commitment. Use the exercise blogs for catharsis. Maybe your feeling frustrated. Maybe you've hit a plateau, maybe your disappointed in your performance. Write about it. Expressing and expanding upon your feelings will help you understand them better. Use the workout blogs for celebration! Have you lost weight? Are you keeping to your eating clean? Maybe you discovered an awesome fat burning workout. Write about it. It is very encouraging to read about personal accomplishments. Maybe your blog will provide you or a friend with the inspiration they need to get moving. Writing exercise blogs will help keep you on accountable, involve your friends and family in your success, and will help motivate you and others on their journey of fitness. -S.F. :)
